Summary Statement of Values and Principles

We are a Christian organization who work through long-standing relationships with local leaders and organizations.

We do not want to own or run projects, but work with local people who are already attempting to take the initiative, but who have neither the necessary resources, nor access to other funding partners.

We will not do what other organizations are geared to do better.

We use the following guidelines in making grants:

• Sustainability  so grants will lead to an on-going, self-generating benefit
• Appropriate methods for the goal to be achieved through training or grants, with regard to effect and consequences
• Accountability to monitor and report on the use of the grant
• Feedback wherever possible to partners and supporters
